Leadership
The Executive Committee is an elected group of FIADA members who serve the association in leadership positions. Elected and installed each year at the Annual Convention, officers officially take office on November 1 and serve for one year. Members are encouraged to share ideas and suggestions with Executive Committee members to help further the goals of the association.
Here’s a glimpse of this year’s Executive Committee officers and their roles and responsibilities. According to the association bylaws, the Executive Committee shall possess and exercise the powers of the Board of Directors when the board is not in session and it shall possess such other powers as may be conferred by the bylaws or by the Board of Directors in specific charges. All actions of the Executive Committee -- during the interim between meetings of the Board of Directors -- shall be reported to and be subject to approval by the Board.
